Trial begins in Iran over deadly attack claimed by ISIL

Eight alleged ISIL militants appeared in court in Iran on Saturday, accused of involvement in a deadly attack in Tehran in 2017.Charges include belonging to a terrorist organization, smuggling weapons and entering the country illegally. In June 2017, five militants attacked Iran's parliament and a shrine to revolutionary leader Ayatollah Khomeini, killing 18 people and wounding more than 50.
