Strikes on Syria stir protests in America and around the world

The airstrikes on Syria have stirred many protests in America and around the world. Several protesters marched outside the White House on Saturday, calling for peace and chanting "hands off Syria." In Aleppo, a rally was held in support of Syrian President Bashar al Assad. People held a banner reading "Long Live the Syrian Army"... and waved flags and portraits of Assad. They said the Syrian people will come together to support their leader.In Amman, Jordan, around 100 people voiced their anger outside the US embassy. Around 7-thousand people turned up at a rally in central Athens to protest against the missile attack. Protesters gathered at Syntagma Square before marching to the US Embassy, chanting anti-US slogans and holding banners.
