In tonight's edition we speak to journalist and author Judi Rever. In her new book "In Praise of Blood", she accuses Tutsis of slaughtering Hutus during the Rwandan genocide. But first, Algeria suffers its deadliest ever air catastrophe; and hundreds of angry residents of the PK5 district protest in front of the base of the UN mission in Central African Republic.
Algeria suffers its deadliest ever air catastrophe after a military plane crashes after take-off near the capital Algiers, killing all 257 people on board. We take a closer look at what happened.
Also, Bangui's bloodiest flare-up in two years brings hundreds of angry residents of the PK5 district to the base of the United Nations mission in Central African Republic. There, they laid out the corpses of over a dozen civilians they say were killed by troops.
And we hear from Judi Rever, an investigative journalist who's written a book that aims to reshape the narrative about what happened in East Africa during the Rwandan genocide in 1994. "In Praise of Blood" accuses President Paul Kagame's RPF of also having committed atrocities against Hutus.
