China levies new duties on US goods

China takes a measured response to US tariffs on Chinese goods, with new duties on dozens of American imports, mainly agricultural products. The tariffs go up to 25 percent on 128 US products, including frozen pork, wine and fruit. The decision, made by China's Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council, took effect Monday. Can Beijing and Washington find a way to rein in trade tensions?
