"They put me in a transporter (vehicle), struck me, attempted to intimidate me, pushed a rifle against my stomach, one of them took out a knife, they took selfies," Head of Serbia's Office for Kosovo Marko Djuric said in Belgrade on Tuesday. This was his first public appearance after he had been arrested and subsequently released by the Specialised Operational Unit of Kosovan police.

SOT, Marko Djuric, Head of Serbia's Office for Kosovo (Serbian): "For the people who were democratic representatives of the Serbs and the unarmed people, they sent hundreds armed to the teeth. I have no other words for them because they are not policemen for me but disparate terrorist gang, and those people armed to the teeth were sent to beat the unarmed people who wanted to talk about the future. It is a disgrace for those who did it and for those who were silent and those who tacitly agreed to it."

SOT, Marko Djuric, Head of Serbia's Office for Kosovo (Serbian):" When they started to beat MPs and ordinary citizens and women with rifle butts, to kicking them, throw shock bombs, when they started dragging Serbian representatives, leading me like a dog, dragging me with my tie on the ground to humiliate me, thinking that they can humiliate Serbia and the Serbian people, after that, they put me in a transporter, they were hitting me ... I'm fine, I have to say, I got a few blows and I do not feel this part yet but I'm fine and I want the public to know that and to thank everyone who was worried. struck me, attempted to intimidate me, pushed a rifle against my stomach, one of them took out a knife, they took selfies. On the way to Pristina (from Kosovska Mitrovica) they chanted 'Allahu Akbar and some other things. Then they took me out of the conveyor, led me through the main streets of Pristina, they put me in the basement, and I just want to tell you if there weren't for one call from Belgrade, the violence and the terror against the Serbs would have continued, I would be still in Pristina, but thank God for this, thanks to that it is over. And I'm really proud of our Serbs. To our men and women who have not quit and will not quit. Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija and Serbia will continue to fight for what is their historical right."
