Sea mining could destroy underwater Lost City

Scientists believe life on earth may have begun in a place called ‘The Lost City’, deep beneath the mid Atlantic ocean.

But now a United Nations agency has assigned this part of the seabed to Poland for mining exploration purposes.

But scientists say that miners may inadvertently destroy precious species and geological structures in their quest for minerals.
