“A bold reaction based on strong evidence,” that’s how Italy’s Europe Minister Sandro Gozi describes a joint statement by the European Union’s 28 members which stated that it is highly likely that Russia was behind the poisoning of a former Russian spy in the United Kingdom on March 4. In our interview on the sidelines of the European Council summit, Gozi tells FRANCE 24’s Catherine Nicholson why Italy decided to join the joint declaration.
