DPRK agrees to high-level inter-Korean talks next Thursday

According to the Republic of Korea (ROK) Unification Ministry, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) has agreed to hold high-level talks next week with Seoul to discuss logistics for a rare inter-Korean summit in April. The two sides will each send a three-member delegation to the truce village of Panmunjom on Thursday. Earlier this month, leaders from both nations agreed to the April gathering, which will discuss ways to denuclearize the Korean Peninsula, dramatically defuse military tensions, and build a permanent peace.
