🇨🇴 Colombia election: Right-wing parties opposed to FARC deal win support | Al Jazeera English

Right-wing political parties, critical of the 2016 peace deal with the Revolutionary Alternative Forces of the Commons (FARC) rebels, have performed strongly in Colombia's congressional election.

It is the first election allowing FARC members to run.

The polls serve as a preview for presidential elections in May, and a strong right-wing showing could put the peace deal at risk.
