The President of the European Council Donald Tusk said he was not "in the mood" to celebrate Russian President Vladimir Putin's reelection success, speaking ahead of a European Council Summit in Brussels, Wednesday.

When asked about the Russian elections, Tusk gave a short response: "After the Salisbury attack I am not in the mood to celebrate President Putin's reappointment," in reference to allegations made by the British government that Russia was behind the spy poison attack.

Earlier on Wednesday the Russian Foreign Minister of the Department on Nonproliferation and Arms Control, Vladimir Ermakov, argued that the UK may have orchestrated the attack on Sergei Skripal's daughter Yulia.
