USA: Parkland students rally for gun control in Fort Lauderdale

Students from the Parkland's Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, where 17 people were killed in a shooting three days earlier, held a rally calling for gun control in Fort Lauderdale on Saturday.

Demonstrators held a range of posters calling for gun control in the wake of Wednesday's school shooting, which left 17 people dead and dozens more injured.

Thousands of people attended the event, including students David Hogg, who filmed the school shooting as it happened and Emma Gonzalez, who made an impassioned plea advocating changes to the second amendment of the US constitution.
