U.S. and Japan agree to maintain pressure on N. Korea over nuclear programs

트럼프•아베 전화 통화…"北비핵화 압박 지속"
U.S. President Donald Trump and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe have agreed to continue putting maximum pressure on North Korea over its nuclear programs.
Speaking on the phone Wednesday,... the two leaders held a united front in deciding to keep up the pressure until the North agrees to denuclearize.
Abe told reporters after the phone call that the two countries reaffirmed their alliance on the nuclear issue -- and that they will not be moved by North Korea's threats.
This was the first phone conversation between the two leaders since early February.
Abe met U.S. Vice President Mike Pence last week during when they attended the PyeongChang Winter Games.
