SW China brings in the New Year with splashes of molten iron

China is bubbling with celebrations to mark the Chinese New Year. In southwest China's Chongqing, people performed a dragon dance amidst fireworks as sparks of molten iron lit up the night sky on Saturday evening. The Dashuhua light show and dance were staged to celebrate the upcoming Chinese New Year. The light show is listed as an intangible cultural heritage in China.
