Live: Jino people celebrate their grandest festival基诺族特懋克节震撼来袭

February 6 marks the Temaoke Festival, the grandest festival for Jino people, equivalent to the Spring Festival celebrated by Han people. A ceremony is being held to celebrate the important occasion of the year, including a sacrificial ceremony and performances manifesting Jino customs and culture. The Jino people were identified as China’s 55th and last ethnic minority in 1979. They inhabit Xishuangbanna, the southernmost prefecture of Yunnan Province.
