Iran: Families of ATR-72 plane crash victims seek answers from CAO

Families of victims of the ATR 72 Aseman Airlines flight crash gathered in front of the Civil Aviation Organisation of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Tehran on Sunday.

Ambulances and security gathered at the Mehrabad Airport mosque.

Sixty-six people were killed after an ATR 72 Aseman Airlines flight from Tehran to the city of Yasuj crashed on Sunday in a mountainous area near the town of Semirom.

The plane crashed after disappearing from flight radar on Sunday morning, killing all 59 passengers as well as crew members.
