DPRK goes for diplomatic gold at Olympics

The Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) was, no doubt, a big winner at the PyeongChang Winter Olympics. Although the unified Korean women’s hockey team lost to Switzerland, DPRK leader Kim Jong Un did score a visit to Pyongyang from his South Korean counterpart, President Moon Jae-in. The invitation came during a historic meeting between Moon, and the sister of the DPRK leader. Was the US powerless in stopping DPRK's charm offensive?
