RBS Chairman: Carillion's last-minute business plan had "no prospect of success"

The Chairman of RBS Sir Howard Davies has told Sky's Ian King that the business plan put forward by Carillion ahead of its collapse "had no prospect of success." As a result, the bank, which had made significant loans to Carillion, was not prepared to step in and provide extra credit.
