A group of North Koreans arrived in the South this morning to check on preparations at the venues where North Korean artists will perform next month for the PyeongChang Winter Olympics.
They were originally going to come on Saturday, but the trip was abruptly postponed.
Our Kim Hye-sung is on the line now with the latest.
Hyesung, so the North Koreans have arrived. How exactly did the process work -- of them coming over?

Right, Devin.
The North Korean delegation arrived in South Korea at around nine a.m. this morning.
The seven-member team is led by singer Hyon Song-wol, who is also head of the North's Samjiyon Orchestra.
They crossed the border on the western side of the Peninsula, and they'll be staying for two days.
They were greeted by several South Korean officials at the border... where they were processed by the customs, immigration and quarantine office.
This marks the first time in two years that the inter-Korean route has been used... since the Kaesung Industrial Park was shut down back in 2016.
This is also the first time North Korean officials have come to the South since the Moon Jae-in administration began last May.

I see. So they're here for two days, and will they be doing?

So, the North Korean delegation are here to look at the concert venues and talk about other details for two proposed performances for the Winter Olympics next month.
The North plans to send Samjiyon, a 140-member performing art group, including an orchestra, singers and dancers for concerts in Seoul and in Gangneung, an Olympic venue on the east coast.
The seven-member team are now heading to Gangneung via high-speed train to take a look at the Gangneung Arts Center, which was built about a month ago.
They're going to inspect the concert hall, see what equipment will be needed, and discuss the details of the program.
The delegation will return to Seoul on Monday, and take a look at three or four possible concert venues in the capital.
That's all I have for now. I'll have more updates on our evening newscast.
Back to you, Devin.
