IOC approves deal for DPRK’s participation in 2018 Winter Olympics

The International Olympic Committee has agreed to allow the Democratic People's Republic of Korea to participate in next month's Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang, South Korea. The decision comes just a week after Pyongyang decided to send athletes to the games, following the historic high-level meetings between Olympic Committee officials from the DPRK and ROK.
